Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha.

Approximately 55 km/1hr

On arrival at the airport, meet our expert guide. As you are transferred to your hotel, the guide will give you an insight on the wonderful adventures ahead. Overnight at Green Mountain Hotel – BB

Day 02 & 03: Arusha – Serengeti National Park.

Approximately 335 km/6hrs 50 mins.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart with packed lunch to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti undoubtedly one of the best known wildlife sanctuaries in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. Arrive in the late afternoon with a game viewing drive as you are transferred to your lodge. On the second day, you will have morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Optional activities while at the Serengeti, An adventure worth taking is the balloon safari. Launching at dawn, rising as the sun rises, you gently float over the plains of the magnificent Serengeti. Day 04: Serengeti National Park – Karatu.

Approximately 170 km/4hrs 10 mins.

After breakfast, drive to Karatu via Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA). Arrive and check in at your lodge followed by lunch then afternoon spend at leisure. Overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge in Karatu – FB

Day 05: Karatu – Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Mto wa mbu village for a bike ride tour plus lunch, then late on drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Green Mountain Hotel – BB

Day 06: Arusha – Zanzibar

Today after breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Arusha airport in time for your departing flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Arrive and check in at your hotel followed by lunch. You will proceeds for a Stone Town tour, this two or three hours tour begins with a visit to Zanzibar’s colourful market, alive with the buzz of locals bartering fresh vegetables and baskets of tropical fruit, amongst the heady aroma of herbs and spices, we continue onto the site of a cathedral built in 1874 then to the Zanzibar Museum, Tippu Tip’s House, the former British Club, the Old Fort and the recently renovated Indian Dispensary. Your tour ends with a stroll through the narrow streets of Stone Town. Overnight at Fun Beach Hotel (Front Pool Bungalow) – BB

Day 07: Zanzibar

Today after breakfast, you will have a full day trip on locally constructed sailing dhows, fitted with outboard motors, marine VHF radios, life jackets and other security requirements. The dhow anchors in a safe and shallow area to allow for snorkelling. High quality snorkelling material are provided, and a large range of sizes is available. Lunch is served on a sand bank or on one of the many uninhabited island in the region. A traditional dish of barbecued fish, rice, lentils and fish curry is serves. Chilled fruit juice, mineral water, and bottled soft drinks are available throughout the tour. After lunch, clients can sail on an outrigger canoe carved out of a single mango tree, snorkel and swim or just relax. Return to Fumba is by sail, wind permitting, and clients arrive back at their hotel at about 1730 hrs.

Day 08: Zanzibar

Kizimbani is among the areas for the spice tour. We will visit the spice plantations where you will have the opportunity to pick, smell, and savour fruits and spices which you have probably never seen on the supermarket shelf, Cloves, star fruit, tangerine trees, lemon grass, mangos teen, ‘lipstick trees’, to name but a few what you can expect to see! Day 09: Departure

Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to the Airport in time for your departing international flight back home, end of service.
